Ethernet 802.1X configuration – Brocade

In this topic, you will learn how to configure Brocade switches to work together with Portnox™ Cloud and 802.1X RADIUS authentication for wired Ethernet connections.

We also recommend updating your NAS device firmware to the latest version, as old firmware can cause issues.

Brocade ICX 6450

This is a general configuration template for Brocade 6450 switches. This process applies to other Brocade ICX switches as well.

  1. Add the Portnox Cloud RADIUS servers to the configuration.

  2. Configure the authentication and restricted VLANs.

  3. Configure the authentication process.
